TRAINS UNIT STUDY

All aboard! Come along and join us in the newest unit study on Trains! From learning about the history of trains, all about trains and steam engines and inventors, we will have quite an adventure as we launch into this study. I first wrote a unit study on Trains many years ago, comprised mainly of a study outline and lists of resources. However, this NEW Trains Unit Study is so much better with daily lesson plans and much more content.

With the Internet, we can watch train cams from around the world, visit railroad museums and "see" all kinds of trains and rolling stock. We can read original newspaper accounts of the famous "Golden Spike" and the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad, and so much more!

No other books or resources are required for the new Trains Unit Study -- the wealth of online information adds so much to our study. Each day's lesson plan has been written in two levels. There is a daily lesson plan for Lower Level (elementary grades), and one for Upper Level (Jr/Sr High grades). 103 pages, printable for your family's use. The study can be used for grades K - 12.
