This study covers the early expansion of our country, from thirteen colonies to the massive move westward along the Oregon Trail. Topics include:
- Daily lives of the pioneers, including life on the trail.
- What was happening in the rest of the world.
- American history.
- United States geography.
- North American Indians.
- Transportation in early America.
The Pioneers study is part of the Unit Study Adventure series, designed to be a four-week study for grades K-12. The daily lesson plans have been written in two levels in this study:
