  • Study the care of horses.
  • Become familiar with some basic safety rules about horses.
  • Learn about the gaits of a horse.

Week 4

  • Continue to develop an understanding of the anatomy of horses.
  • Learn more about the breeds of horses.
  • Study more about the care of horses.
  • Investigate some of the equipment used with horses.
  • Finish our study of the special vocabulary used when talking about horses (lingo).
